Goals
As a PhD graduate of the University of Georgia, I am interested the field of exercise psychology and physiology. My research goals are focused on understanding the physiological and psychological mechanisms that underlie the benefits of physical activity for human health and well-being.
Specifically, research focusing on the effects of exercise on sleep, mood, and cognitive function. I am particularly interested in exploring the potential of exercise to alleviate symptoms related to stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as to improve sleep quality and reduce fatigue.
My research goals are aimed at developing a deeper understanding of how physical activity can be used to promote health and well-being across the lifespan. Through innovative research, I hope to uncover new strategies for using exercise to enhance physical and mental health, and to improve quality of life for individuals from diverse backgrounds and populations.
