About Me
Hi there! My name is Melissa, and I'm a post-doctorate who graduated from the University of Georgia. When I'm not in the lab researching ways to use exercise to help females with past trauma, you can find me outside hiking or cycling. I also teach cycle classes and love to travel whenever I get the chance.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a background in ballet dancing, which has instilled in me a deep appreciation for discipline and perseverance. I believe these values are essential for achieving success in any aspect of life, and I strive to impart them to my students and colleagues.
As a researcher and educator, I am passionate about exploring ways to improve the lives of others, particularly women who have experienced trauma. I believe that exercise can be a powerful tool to help individuals overcome physical and mental obstacles and reach their full potential. My goal is to use my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the lives of others, both inside and outside of the classroom.
